And Sabathia- a ball, very low, another 92! 92 again, good lord. This time a strike though. A 93, finally. And we get an odd point from TBS- Andrus has not cut his hair since spring training! Disgusting, but he takes a walk. A speedster is on. Here we go! 92 again. CC has control troubles early as the ballpark erupts. We have 3-0 on Michael Young. Thats like when they launched the moon rocket! We have...3-0 on Michael Young! And Young hits it into the gap! Andrus to third and this is a wonderful start! And the very frightening Josh Hamilton steps up there. CC is afraid. CC gets it up to 94, is he stepping it up in the Major jam? And a rip...GONE!!! A HUGE BLAST INTO RIGHT FIELD AND HAMILTON SEES THE LEAD IN A ABSOLUTE HITTABLE PITCH FROM SABATHIA, AND LIKE ANY PICKPOCKET HE SNATCHES IT! THE BALLPARK REACTS AS IF HE JUST SET OFF AN ATOMIC BOMB! WE HAVE...3-0, TEXAS! And GUERRERO! Granderson jumps and gets it as the drive to the wall doesn't get out. But this place is incredibly pumped up. The Rangers are fortunate to have fans like these. Oh, Texans. And Cruz to right! A single. Girardi has to get out there, now. Houston, we have a problem. Actually, not Houston, it's Arlington. In Arlington, we have a problem. It sounds loud on TV, I can only imagine how loud it is down there in the Lone Star State. Kinsler steps up, and we'll find out right now if the Rangers are going to play their aggressive baserunningangle tonight. And what a boo as CC throws to first! That was diabolical on the fans' part. And another walk to Kinsler, the Rangers hitters are being patient. CC won't be in long, he already has 27 pitches in this disastrous first inning. CC throws himself what seems to be his first strike of the night at 93. Francoeur takes a mighty rip at a high 94, but no connection. A pop up and a swing nearly straight up, Jeter makes the play in left. Matt Treanor, taking over from Bengie Molina this night, is up. And CC walks Treanor. Joe Girardi is passive, I think he has faith in his pitcher. Jorge Cantu is up there now. And a wild pitch. Cruz is thrown out. Ron Washington is arguing, however, he's keeping calm so he doesn't pull a Joe Maddon (an ejection). Posada looking like a young man on that athletic play!

Thriller First Inning
Here we go, Wilson gets himself ready! And a strike poured in, a nice low fastball. That's what Wilson will be looking for. Another beauty of a fastball inside, this time at 90. He's trying to limit his velocity. And Michael Young makes a fine play over there. A throw to first, an out. Another one of those 92 strikes. He's definitely going for this pitch. And a check swing strike out of Nick Swisher, and this place explodes! Another 92, a ball outside. Wilson is saving his arm big time. And another sharp grounder to Michael Young, another brave play. After 1/2, no hits, no runs, no errors. Wilson pitching well.
