Brooks Conrad

If he was named after Brooks Robinson, then he hasn't lived up to his name. The third baseman by trade, moved to second base, committed several awful errors in Atlanta's loss to the Giants. Conrad pulled a Buckner when a ground ball shot through his legs in the ninth inning. That let the go-ahead run score. However, the blame shouldn't be put completely on Conrad. He isn't a second baseman folks. Thats not to say it isn't his fault that the Braves lost-it is his fault. Just the circumstances should be taken into account. Atlanta fans shouldn't set too much store by this one game. Remember Tim Wakefield in 2003...
