Sorry San Diego

In my opinion, the citizens of San Francisco, California should send out a public apology to the citizens of San Diego, California. They might send it taped to a World Series trophy. What will Heath Bell say as he see's the trophy?

"That trophy is mine, man. Mine."

The fact of the matter is that the Padres simply deserved the NL West title. They played better baseball than the Giants for almost the whole 2010 season, they have more heart and more hope than the Giants, and frankly they have more talent. Next year, you will probably not see a successful San Diego Padres team. Their greatest strength this year has been their bullpen. Unfortunately, great bullpen performances are almost always subject to the worst of flukedom.

So sorry, San Diego.
