Celtics Injury Report

The day before the Celtics start the preseason. In practice, the Celtics scrimmaged. Doc Rivers said it came down to the wire. CONCERN! Jermaine O'Neal injured his left hamstring in practice a couple days ago, and still hasn't stepped on the court yet. However, during the scrimmage, Shaq played with the starters. Apparently hid did well, as the reports say the Celtics are glad to have the big man on their side. All of the players and coaches are boasting about how good their second role players are. Paul Pierce says " The second unit is like, no joke, really." And Shaq says, " Our second line could be a starting team somewhere!". The starters and second role players have about split the scrimmages, with the starters having the upper hand, reports say. Even better, none of the bench players have a grudge about being on the bench, even though they know they could probably make a starting role somewhere else. Obviously, it is good that the Celtics know they have a solid second line. The question is now, which O'Neal will be the starting center? Kendrick Perkins injured his ACL in the 2010 NBA Finals, and will be out until November. All of this will be revealed as the Preseason winds down. Who will start? Will the bench be good enough to take on the powerful Heat on opening day? The Celtics Buzz has already started, and fans, we may be in for an interesting year.
