- Tom "Mr. Bieber hair" Brady
- Rob "Gronk" Gronkowksi
Tom Brady was named one of the finalists for the FEDEX Air NFL Player of the week, and Rob Gronkowski was nominated for the Pepsi Rookie of the week. Brady threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns and was 30 for 40. Those three touchdowns were all thrown to the man who is nominated for Pepsi Rookie of the week... Rob Gronkowski. Gronk caught 5 passes (only 5 were thrown to him) for 72 total yards.

Patriots Injury report:
The injury report this week, isn't even close to "bad" for the Patriots. There are three total players on it, including the usually Tom Brady. Brady is always on the injury report. Why is he? Well, sometimes it is a legit injury that he is battling (like last week), but some people think it is to make the opponent think more about if he is going to play or not. Well, Brady could be considered a "veteran" in the league now so I think Bellichecks antics of putting him on the injury report most of the time for no reason is getting a bit pointless. Other noticeable injuries for the Patriots are guard Stephen Neal who is listed day-to-day with a shoulder injury, and Fred Taylor who has not played for several weeks. Last week, Taylor was officially ruled out before the game, but this week he is listed as questionable. Do Patriots fans really want a Taylor return? Well, he is a veteran unlike BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead but Woodhead and Ellis seem to be a good 1-2 punch for the Pats. Only time will tell to see if Taylor comes back this week, and what impact it makes on Ellis and Woodhead.
Colts Injury report:
The Colts also have three players on their injury list, and they are all offensive players. Well, this is a great thing for the Patriots because the Colts usually have a great offensive power-house but this week maybe not so much. Wayne, Addai, and Mike Hart are the three players on the injury report. Hart is then backup running back to Addai who has been out for 7 weeks with a bad shoulder. The week after Addai was out, Hart went down with an ankle injury and is still battling it. As for Wayne, he banged up his knee in last weeks game against the Bengals. He is expected to play as Donald Brown will probably be the starting running back for the Colts against the Patriots.
My Prediction of the game:
I think that the Patriots will come out of the gate fast and take a good lead, but the Colts will battle back and tie it up. Then, the game will turn over to the running backs where the Patriots have the edge because of the Colts' injuries. I would look for Brady and Manning to be having an epic showdown in terms of passing yards and total touchdowns. Bold prediction: Patriots 24, Colts 17.
Pats improve to 8-2 as the Colts fall to 6-4.
