Halfway through the first period. Still no score, 0-0. Bruins are looking really solid tonight. Hopefully we can extend our winning streak to two straight games. Stay tuned!
On the power play at the ending of the period. Looking for a goal. Still no score, 0-0.
Couldn't get any points on the PP. YIKES!
Yess! On the PP again. Hopefully we can get a goal on this one.
1st Period Summary: No score at the end of one, 0-0. Twenty minutes are in the books now. Many scoring opportunities for both teams, but no execution. The B's are playing really well right now, and hopefully we can continue that throughout the game. We will begin the second on the Power Play.
Goal. The Rangers just scored 7:10 into the second period. The goal was scored when they were on the PP by Brandon Dubinsky assisted by R. Callahan.
Bruins were on the PP until big Zdeno Chara was called for boarding. :(
GOAL!!!!!!! Milan Lucic!!!!! He scored at 11:06 in the second. That goal was assisted by Nathan Horton. GO BRUINS!!!!!
SCORE!!!!!! TYLER SEQUIN!!!!! THE ROOKIE!!!!!! Wow... was that a snipe or what. As Tyler came in, he went bar down on Lundqvist. It was a beauty! Go Bruins!
2nd Period Summary: There were three nice goals scored in the second period. The first was scored by Rangers Brandon Dubinsky. The second goal was to tie up the game a 1-1. It was scored by Milan Lucic and assisted by Nathan Horton. The game was tied up until rookie sniper Tyler Seguin stepped up and went BAR DOWN on Lundqvist. That concludes the excitement for the second period. I'll be back after the final with a full game summary. GO BRUINS!
3rd Period Summary: (Jason now)
Recchi scored a beautiful goal one-minute into the third period, to make it 3-1 Bruins. But, Rangers all-star Marion Gaborik was determine to keep New York in the game. He scored 7 minutes into the third to make it 3-2 Bruins, and thats where we stand now with 10 minutes to go. This game has been like a see-saw. Back and forth, with teams trading goals
right after they score one. This should be good for the Bruins if it keeps this way because the Rangers are the one playing catch-up. Bruins hold on for the 3-2 won at MSG tonight. Go Bruins!!
