Finally today the Cowboys announced the firing of head coach Wade Phillips. A few weeks ago, Jerry Jones said that Phillips would be the coach for the rest of the season. Well, after a dismantling beat down by the Packers last night, it was really no surprise to anyone that he was cut loose.
The new head coach: Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will now coach.
The new defensive coordinator: Paul Pasqualoni
Note that Phillips was the coach and called the defensive plays at the same time.
