Timeline of the 162nd game

Being as bored as I was during the rain delay, and thinking about the blog, I figured why not make a timeline of events from the rain delay on. Here are the notes I took down.

9:43 PM - Rain Delay. The Weather Channel reports the rain will stay for a while.
10:10 PM - Rays plate two on two walks. 7 - 2 Yankees lead bottom 8.
10:15 PM - Hit batter. Rays down 7 - 3. 2 outs.
10:19 PM - Everything is unraveling. Longoria hits a three-run blast. 7 - 6. Bottom 9 now.
10:45 PM - Dan Johnson barely belts a homerun to right field and the Rays tie the game 7 - 7.
11:02 PM - Red Sox resume play in Baltimore.
11:39 PM - Red Sox with runners on the corners - NO OUTS.
11:48 PM - Red Sox end up with NO RUNS when they had runners on the corners, no outs.
11:51 PM - Yankees with runners on the corners, no outs, get a force out on a bad play at third base. Rays escape the jam.
11:53 PM - Chris Davis doubles off Papelbon with TWO OUTS in the ninth.
11:59 PM - Right before the clock strikes midnight, Reimold doubles and plates Davis - Tied 3 - 3.
12:03 AM - Crawford misses the catch, Andino gets a single, Reimold scores. BALLGAME. ORIOLES WIN 4 - 3. Sox have to play the waiting game now.
12:04 AM - Rays have one out in the 12th. LONGORIA UP TO BAT.
12:04 AM - Pitch one: Ball. Pitch two: Strike. Pitch three: Strike
12:05 AM - Pitch four: Ball. Pitch five: Foul. (If you're lost, the count is 2 - 2.)
12:06 AM - Pitch six: Foul.
12:06 AM - The Swing. The ball is in play. 10 feet off the ground. hit hard. i mean hard. curving, curving, to the wall...............
12:06 AM - GONE. BOOM. JUST LIKE THAT. WILD CARD = RAYS.
                    RED SOX = GONE. SEASON OVER. CHAPTER OVER. ANOTHER YEAR OVER.
