Red Sox- Game 162

Both the Rays and the Red Sox won last night, so the WC race will be stretched to the limit. Game 162 for both games is tonight, with both aces starting for each team. In Tampa, Rays will have southpaw David Price, who is 12-13. But base your thoughts about Price on his record. He has a 3.35 ERA, a WHIP rate of 1.12, and has 215 strikeouts on the year. He will face rookie Dellin Betances, who is 6 foot 8, but did not have a good debut, allowing 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning against the Rays earlier this season. The Red Sox will have Jon Lester, who is 14-0 (1-0 this season) with a 2.33 ERA against the Orioles. But with the way this team has been playing, you don't know what to expect. A perfect example was Ryan Lavarnway last night, who made his first start as a catcher, slamming a 3R HR and a solo shot to propel the Red Sox to victory last night. I'll keep the preview short and sweet tonight, but tomorrow I will post lengthy coverage on either the WC winner or if there is a one game playoff, which is looking more and more likely. Keep in mind the Red Sox haven't won 2 games in a row for a month. But this is game 162, and it is by far the most important game this season. GO YANKEES!! GO RED SOX!!
