The Patriots improved to 2-1 on the season while the Bills fell to 0-3. The Bills are 1 of 5 teams to start the year 0-3. The Patriots were surprised by the Bills offense, as they scored 30 points. Many fans thought the game would be a blowout.
A trio of running backs filled in perfectly for the injured Kevin Faulk, who suffered a torn ACL in the 28-14 loss to the Jets last week. Benjarvis Green-Ellis led the way with 16 carries for 98 yards and a TD in the last quarter so finish the Bills off. Also, Danny Woodhead, the player we got in a trade for Lawrence Maroney, also caught a TD pass.
Rookie Tight End Aaron Hernandez led recieving with 6 catches for 65 yards and one carry which he took for 13 yards on an end-around play. Randy Moss caught 2 TD passes. He caught the 150th and 151st of his career.
The Patriots defense looked shaky, allowing 30 ooints to a team that before came in with an average of about 8 points per game. However, they did come up with 2 interceptions. The main concern for the Patriots right now is the Special Teams unit, who allowed C.J. Spiller to run back a 95 yard kickoff return and over 40 yards in punt returns. The defense allowed Marshawn Lynch 75 yards.
Brady threw for 3 TD's and 252 yards. He threw the ball to 9 different recievers, and used his new weapons (Hernandez, GRONK, and Woodhead) very effectively. The Patriots are playing the Dolphins next week, who are now 2-1. Brady is 10-6 career against the Dolphins.

Week two was good for the Patriots. It shocked me that the Pats gave up 30 points to the BILLS! Their secondary is extremely weak, with Darius Butler, and Devin McCourty as their starting Corner Backs. The Pats need to find a running back quickly, because Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris do not cut it. The Pats should start Tully Banta-Cain, who was not starting vs the Bills, which was very startling. I think that the Pats Defense will find it's identity and beast the Dolphins by 6.
