The Bruins, who made it to the Eastern Conference Semi-finals last season, are still a favorite of many to have a better record than last year, despite the bad news...
It sure seems like the Bruins could be in for a rough season after hearing the news that Marc Savard might be out for the season with a lingering concussion, and a 1-4 start to the pre-season.
The B's have two losses a piece to Florida and Washington. In the middle of these two losses, their only win has come against division rival, the Montreal Canadiens. Although it is the first five games of the season, I think many fans should be getting concerned about their beloved Bruins.
On the other hand, Marc Savard was seventh on the team in goals scored, before getting cheap-shotted by the Penguins Matt Cooke which put him on the bench for the season. Bruins fans should be thanking Matt Cooke (Sarcasm) for knocking out one of the Bruins best players for half of last season and what it seems to be this season.
